I have a warm home.

I have a husband who loves and respects me.

I have kids to love on.

I have food to eat.

I have parents who raised me well and who love me unconditionally.

I have a job.

My husband has a job.

I have a reliable car.

I have great friends.

I have good health.

I have time to care for my kids and my husband and my home.

I have been so blessed. And the most important blessing of all...

I HAVE SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, AND MY FATHER GOD LOVES ME AND IS SOVEREIGN OVER ALL. HE IS THE ONE WHO HAS BLESSED ME. I AM THANKFUL!

These are all the thoughts that are floating through my head these days. We have friends in Japan, and friends who are raising support to go to Japan, and because of them, I feel a more personal connection to the people there. It is a very tragic time, and one that I can't really wrap my mind around. It puts everything in perspective.

I think twice about complaining. When I want to complain, I say a short prayer for those in need. I hope to hold onto this for a long time to come. If you hear me complaining, please just remind me of all that God has blessed me with!
