saturday surprise

If you're like me, you have a husband who likes running errands, and doesn't mind taking one or two kiddos along for the adventure. My hubs left Saturday morning on a hunt for a new chest freezer. We have a stand up freezer in our basement that (probably) is older than me, and sucks up a LOT of electricity. And it is nearly empty! Thus, the need for a new freezer.

Well, the hubs got back around lunch time and didn't have a chest freezer in the back of his truck.

He came inside and said he had a surprise for me. I love surprises! Especially THIS kind of surprise!



It was on sale. {I KNOW what you are thinking! Usually that is a woman's excuse! "It was on SALE, so I HAD to buy it!"} Now I get to use this excuse. I mean, usually the things on sale that I have to buy are much smaller... like clothes... and shoes... and home decor. :)

Anyway, I'm THRILLED! A brand new set of front-loading high efficiency laundry magicians. I actually don't mind doing laundry... even with my old nasty washer and dryer that came with the house. But NOW, it will be a treat!

I mean, look at these options!




And when I get the laundry closet painted and organized, it will be FUN to do laundry! Have you seen those vinyl signs for laundry rooms around? I will be getting one.
