laundry room with a face lift!

Remember a while back when I posted about how my laundry room (closet, really) was in dire need of some style? Well, the project is moving along nicely, and I only have a few more things to do until it is completely up to my standards. Actually, to say I have standards for a laundry room is a bit over the top. I'm extremely happy that I have a laundry room in the first place!

BEFORE:
blah. bland. ivory/yellowish/cream. uninspiring.





AFTER:
uplifting. blue-green. white accents. new lighting. organized.















The light fixture that used to be here covered a gaping hole of sorts in the ceiling, so the hubs will eventually cover that up. Also, you'll notice the hideous electric panel box on the back wall. That will, too, be covered up with a nice cabinet facade that will open up to allow access to the panel! And, I'd like to hang a shelf and some hooks on the right side wall for hanging clothes to dry, and storing the extra dryer sheets. This would allow me to actually fold clothes on top of the dryer.

Ahhhhh... I love an easy room makeover. :)
